You’ll be able to choose from various coverages and options to build your policy and ensure that you have the auto insurance coverage that you need. When you select Plymouth Rock Assurance to insure your car in New Hampshire, you’ll have access to experts that will help you do just that.
Unlike most other states, New Hampshire doesn’t require its residents to have auto insurance. However, that doesn’t shield you if you’re legally responsible for injuring someone or damaging their property in an accident.
Plymouth Rock offers auto insurance that will help you protect yourself, your family and your assets. In addition to choosing the right coverages, you’ll also need to choose appropriate coverage limits.
You’ll find that Plymouth Rock makes the process of getting a quote easy. We’re here to help, along with your independent agent, if you have questions about discounts or need more information.
If you purchase auto insurance for personal use, by state law, you must also buy the following compulsory coverages:
Medical Payments pays for reasonable and necessary medical expenses and funeral expenses for you, your family members, and any other person occupying your vehicle with your permission, if they are injured in an accident.
Uninsured Motorists provides coverage should injuries result from an accident involving an at-fault uninsured driver, or a hit and run driver. It also protects against injuries caused by insured drivers whose coverage is less than your own.
Here are some examples of optional car insurance coverage that Plymouth Rock offers:
Collision pays for damage to your auto when it collides with another auto or object. This coverage is generally required by a lender, if a loan is obtained on your vehicle.
Comprehensive pays for damage to or the loss of your auto from causes other than collision (i.e., hail, vandalism, fire, theft, etc.). This coverage is generally required by a lender, if a loan is obtained on your auto.
Bodily Injury Liability pays for claims made as the result of injury to others resulting from an accident you cause. It compensates others for pain, suffering and economic damages, such as lost wages.
Property Damage Liability pays for damage to another auto or property of others incurred as the result of an auto accident caused by you.
Towing and Labor reimburses you for towing expenses when your auto becomes disabled and requires roadside assistance.
Rental Reimbursement/Substitute Transportation pays a specified amount for help in covering the necessary rental of a substitute auto while yours is being repaired. This coverage applies for a limited period of time and is referenced in your policy conditions.
This is just a brief summary of these coverages. Additional terms and exclusions apply. Actual coverage is subject to the language of the policy as issued. Please refer to your policy for more information or contact a local independent Plymouth Rock agent.
